Hosted by the Republic of Tunisia and under the supervision of the Minister of National Defense of the Tunisian government, the 31st session of the Board of Directors of the CRTEAN will be held in the period from February 19 to 21, 2024 in Tunis, the capital. As is known, the Board of Directors consists of the founding countries that It includes Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania, and Sudan hose signed the center’s founding law. Partner member states, including Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Senegal, and Mali, are also invited. The regional office of the Economic Commission of the African Union (UNECA) in Rabat has also been invited, as well as the Arab League office. Tunisia chairs the Board of Directors, Sudan is Vice-Chairman, and Egypt is the Board’s Rapporteur.
The Center’s Scientific Council, which consists of experts from member states, will also hold its session that precedes the Board of Directors sessions to approve the Center’s scientific program and plans for the year 2024, which will be approved by the Board of Directors.
Members of the diplomatic corps and heads of diplomatic missions in regional and international organizations will be summoned to the opening session of the session, which will be held, with God’s help, at the Ocropolis Hotel in Lake 1 in Tunis.
