We are pleased to announce that the GMES North Africa Consortium and the European Space Agency (ESA) are organizing a training on Dunia platform that be held on virtual mode on 5 and 6 December from 1 to 2 pm Tunis Time as part of the organization of the Hackathon on Earth Observation for Sustainable Management of Natural Resources in Africa which will be held on December 12th – 13th , in Tunis in hybrid mode.
Participants will have the opportunity to access and take advantage of the highly innovative DUNIA IT platform just launched (http://dunia.esa.int), developed by ESA, and make their valuable contributions to addressing the critical need for information supporting sustainable water and natural resource management in Africa.
The training program is a chance to dive into the Dunia platform service and harness its full potential. The sessions cover a wide range of topics, from getting acquainted with the service and its free tier to utilizing the dataset search and download API, exploring the Sandbox, and delving into the intricacies of scale-out processing across Africa. It’s an opportunity to learn, interact, and master the tools at your disposal.
