The regional training course on the uses of lidar and its derivatives, organised by the Regional Centre for Remote Sensing for North Africa in cooperation with the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences (NARSS), Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, was inaugurated on 11/09/2023 in Cairo, attended by a large number of experts and trainees from Libya, Sudan and Egypt. Dr Islam Abouelmagd, President of the National Authority and H.E. They stressed the importance of this course for the countries of the region, praising the competence of the trainer selected for this course, wishing success and progress for the course and the continuation of such courses at the national and regional level.
