The Regional Center’s participation in the New Space Africa Conference 2023.

At the invitation of the African Union, the General Director of the Center participated in the New Space Africa Conference 2023 organized by the African Union in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Ivory Coast government in Azerbaijan from April 25 to 28, 2023. The conference was inaugurated by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, accompanied by the President of the Economic Commission for Africa and the African Union, and the Head of Space Programs and GMES & Africa Project Coordinator, Mr. Tidian. More than 400 experts and scholars, including researchers and officials from space programs, institutions, and agencies operating in this field in Africa, as well as regional and international organizations and centers, attended this forum. The four-day conference addressed various important and effective issues for building space programs in the African continent. It provided an opportunity for the center to meet with various officials in space programs, establish scientific relationships, and participate as a speaker in one of the organized sessions.
