At the invitation of his brother, Mr. Dr. Emmanual Nkurunziza, Director General of the Regional Center for Mapping of Resource Development (RCMRD), affiliated with the Economic Commission of the African Union in Nairobi, Republic of Kenya, Dr. Al-Hadi Gashut, Director General of the Regional Center for Remote Sensing for North African States in the African Union (CRTEAN), Made a business visit to the RCMRD Center on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. During his visit, he met with Dr. Emmanail and the experts, project, and department managers at this center. The visit included a presentation of the center, its projects, and its work at the regional and international levels. The visit also encompassed a tour of the technical departments, the new headquarters of the center, and its annexes, which are a source of pride for Africa.
This visit concluded with the signing of a memorandum of agreement for joint and constructive cooperation between the group of North African countries represented by CRTEAN and the countries of East, South, and West Central Africa represented by RCMRD. This cooperation aims to benefit the African continent within the jurisdiction of the two centers.
